Are you confused regarding the paper pattern of IIT JEE Main (Advanced) 2014 ? What is the difference between paper-1 and paper-2 in IIT JEE Main (Advanced) 2014 ? Do these questions bothers you a lot ? Here is the complete information which will remove all your doubts:

In order to be selected in any of the Indian Institute of Technology, a student need to clear two papers, namely Paper-1 and Paper-2 of JEE (Advanced) 2014 in addition to JEE Main 2014.
    In total,
a student will have to clear three exams (two papers of JEE Advanced and one paper of JEE Main), to get into IITs ELSE just one exam (JEE Main) to get into institutes other then IITs.

Now, students who wish to write JEE (Advanced) - 2014 must write the Paper-1 of JEE (Main)-2014 in the month of April 2014 AND should also get a rank in the range of 1 to 1,50,000.

Students have been given option to select a mode of examination for JEE Main 2014 from Pen & Paper Based Examination and Computer Based Examination.

When will these papers be exactly held ?
April 6, 2014 (Pen & Paper Based Examination)
    April 9, 11, 12 & 19, 2014 (Computer Based Examination)

DATE OF EXAMINATION for JEE Advanced 2014:
The JEE (Advanced)-2014 will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 as per the schedule
    given below:
    Paper 1: 09:00 to 12:00 hrs (IST)
    Paper 2: 14:00 to 17:00 hrs (IST)

If you still didn't get the difference between papers or have some other doubts regarding how to apply the paper or fees etc, you can directly ask me by commenting on this thread(post).
